This credential and certification are valid for 5 years. You maintain this certification and credential by holding a current license to practice and renewing the certification every five years, by fulfilling the renewal criteria in effect at the time of your certification renewal.

Typically, these nurses are accountable for multiple groups of nurses and may be accountable for non-nurse personnel and operations.
