The MCAT, or Medical College Admission Test®, is a standardized, computer-based, multiple-choice exam used by medical schools in the United States and Canada to assess a student’s readiness for medical school. It evaluates problem-solving, critical thinking, and knowledge of natural, behavioral, and social science concepts. The AAMC develops and administers the MCAT exam multiple times per year.
